I was curious if this was a problem, as it only does it for a few seconds. Other than that, it works great, Ive had no problems.

This usually happens when the Namecoin client isn't being responsive to requests; it's more common on slower system, or while the Namecoin client is first downloading the blockchain.
When the cat goes red, MeowBit becomes disable and will not be able to resolve dot-bit addresses. We are looking at the possibility of caching dot-bit addresses in a future version in order to be less reliant on the Namecoin client.
